Anesh Soonder
Managing Director
Anesh provides strategic leadership and high-level operational oversight of the firm, combining extensive legal, governance and retirement-fund experience with a strong entrepreneurial approach to business.
He is an admitted attorney, holding a BA Law and LLB from the University of Natal and an LLM from the University of South Africa, with further qualifications in Compliance Management, Finance, Investment Management and Cyber Security.
His combination of legal expertise, strategic leadership, governance experience and entrepreneurial insight enables him to approach both client matters and the management of the firm with a practical, forward-thinking perspective.
Preshen Pillay
Director
Preshen is a practising attorney admitted to the Law Society of the Northern Provinces, holding a Bachelor of Social Science and an LLB from the University of KwaZulu-Natal.
His experience spans civil litigation, labour law, family law, estate administration and insurance law, with his practice more recently extending into retirement-fund and pensions law, before both the Magistrates' Courts and the High Court.
His current focus is on retirement-fund regulatory compliance, particularly the protection and recovery of employee benefits and enforcement of employer contribution obligations.
Vinay Kisten
Operations Manager
Vinay is responsible for the overall operational management of the firm and provides dedicated support to the Section 13A Collections Team as an independent Section 13A Collections Consultant.
With more than 23 years of business experience and a Higher Diploma in Business Management (obtained with distinction), his experience includes negotiation, settlement management, client relationship management and operational oversight.
His leadership approach is focused on accountability, teamwork and ensuring the firm's operations consistently support the quality of service delivered to clients.
Avishkar Sewnath
Management Accountant
Avishkar is a BCom Accounting graduate from the University of KwaZulu-Natal, currently pursuing the CIMA qualification to expand his financial and management-accounting expertise.
He is hardworking, diligent and highly goal-oriented, with strong analytical and leadership abilities, a high level of emotional intelligence, and a committed, team-first approach to his work.
Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with friends and family, fitness, travelling and exploring good food.
Tejal Bawa
Associate
Tejal holds an LLB from the University of the Witwatersrand and completed her articles of clerkship in Johannesburg. Her experience spans civil and criminal litigation, labour law, family law and personal injury law.
She has a particular interest in alternative dispute resolution and is a reliable, highly organised team player who approaches her work with determination, professionalism and a strong commitment to client service.
Outside of her legal practice, Tejal enjoys reading, baking and spending time with friends and family.
Marian Mupfumisi
Paralegal
Marian holds a degree in Law and Politics from the University of Notre Dame in Perth, Australia, as well as an LLB from the University of Fort Hare in the Eastern Cape.
She is part of the firm's Litigation Department, where she has developed a particular interest in pensions law and retirement-fund matters, and is committed to building a long-term career in this specialised area.
Siphamandla Nkwali
Candidate Attorney
Siphamandla Nkwali is a Candidate Attorney at Soonder Incorporated, with a developing practice focused on pension funds law, corporate and commercial law, and related litigation. He has developed a strong foundation in legal research, drafting and legal analysis, supported by a diligent and detail-oriented approach to his work.
Siphamandla is committed to continuous professional development and expanding his legal expertise. He has completed his Practical Legal Training and Attorneys' Board Examinations and is currently pursuing a Postgraduate Diploma in Corporate and Commercial Law at the University of the Witwatersrand.
Chantal Bransgrove
Legal Enforcement Administrator
Chantal holds a BCom in Finance and a BCom Honours in Business Management, with extensive experience across banking, regulatory, administrative and retirement-fund environments.
She spent eight years at Absa Bank across Asset Finance and International Trade, before moving to the Metal Industries Bargaining Council as a Funds Agent, and later gained further pension-fund administration experience at the Mindoro Group.
As a mother of two, she is committed to personal and professional growth and to setting a positive example for her children through her work ethic and dedication.
Takalani Ravhanna
Administrator
Takalani studied Paralegal Practice at Boston City College, Pretoria Acacia Campus, graduating in 2015. Since 2019 she has specialised in legal debt-collection administration.
She is self-motivated, solutions-oriented and enjoys approaching challenges with an open, creative mindset — an aspiring team leader who values collaboration, efficiency and continuous development.
Ramatladi Takalo

With more than 10 years of experience in the customer relations industry, Ramatladi has developed strong interpersonal, organisational and communication skills well suited to effective legal debt collection and client engagement.
A college education instilled a strong work ethic, self-discipline and the ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines effectively — qualities consistently applied throughout their career. Ramatladi is committed to continuous professional development and embraces opportunities to grow and adapt within an ever-changing environment.

Chandeshka Munilall
Executive PA
Chandeska is a dedicated and results-driven professional with over six years of experience in office administration, accounting, management, training, debt collection, and client relations. She is highly organised, adaptable, and confident in working with clients both virtually and in person.
A fast learner with strong communication and administrative skills, Chandeska is proficient in various computer systems and databases. She is self-motivated, reliable, and able to work effectively under pressure while maintaining professionalism and attention to detail.
Yournesi Soonder
Business Manager
Yournesi oversees the firm's financial management and Human Resources functions, holding a Certificate in Strategic Marketing Management from Wits Business School alongside qualifications in Sales and Marketing, HR and Environmental Health.
Prior to joining the firm, she held corporate and leadership roles including Brand Communications Specialist at Mercedes-Benz South Africa, Marketing and Communications Specialist for Mitsubishi Motors, and Team Leader at Dimension Data.
She believes people achieve success when equipped with the right knowledge, enthusiasm, positive attitude and tools — a philosophy that informs her approach to both the firm's operations and its people.
