I completed my B.Com (Hons) LLB at the University of Natal, FAIS Regulatory Examinations I and recently obtained his qualification as a Professional Principal Executive Officer. I have worked in the retirement funds industry for many years, having joined the Office of the Pension Funds Adjudicator when it opened its office in Johannesburg, thereafter as senior legal advisor to the Registrar of Pension Funds at the Financial Services Board and Financial Sector Conduct Authority and most recently as the principal officer of the five Motor Industry Retirement Funds. I have been involved in the ongoing transformation of the financial services sector in South Africa and is enthusiastic about contributing to the further transformation of the sector so that it properly holds its place in the overall transformation and development of our country and its people.  

While pension funds law is his primary interest, I am also enthusiastic about and a keen observer of developments in the world of business, finance and economics.
